Our care and support staff are critical to providing a service that we are proud of and of our success so it is important to us to find good care workers to join our team.
We know that to be a good care worker you have to have special qualities – some of which can’t be learned or earned but are naturally part of an individual’s personality.
When recruiting our care staff we look for the following qualities when offering employment opportunities.
Elaina- Registered Manager and Lisa- Service User Manager have over 50 years of combined experience working in the Health and Social Care Sector giving them a wealth of experience and knowledge of the requirements of both service users and good care staff.
Both Elaina and Lisa began their career in Health and Social Care as carers and still enjoy carrying out care visits themselves. The benefits of this is that it allows them to be able to see things from a carers perspective giving them a very good understanding of both the challenges and rewards of being a carer.
Elaina and Lisa set up Sensa Care to offer something a bit different when it comes to care services and in the management of their care team.
"We have spent many years listening to what is important to people who require care, what services are difficult to source and what is important to staff to ensure they feel valued and happy in their employment."
Whilst we expect our care staff at Sensa Care in Havant to provide a high standard of care; to be reliable; flexible; to work hard and be proud representatives of our company, we also want our staff to enjoy working with us.
Joining Sensa Care will provide you with the opportunity to work in small local response teams supporting service users with short term packages of care. We have our own in house training in Havant.
Our aim is for our care staff in Havant and surrounding areas to offer home care services that are person centred, individual packages of care and support that are enabling, confidence building, maximising independence and stabilising their ability to cope to at home.
